Carpal Tunnel
Carpal tunnel is a condition that is diagnosed when someone has wrist and hand pain. Most patients with carpal tunnel use their wrist and hand in a repetitive movement, or work-related motion such as typing. This condition is frequently caused by multiple points of nerve impingement, making it very difficult to treat effectively. A detailed examination of the head, neck, and upper extremity is required to determine the source of the problem.
Treatments for carpal tunnel syndrome consist of chiropractic adjustment to the spine and wrist/hand, deep tissue muscle stripping, mechanical traction and rehabilitation exercises.
